Blacktown’s Aussie Hoops program is held at two venues:

• Kevin Betts Stadium, Mt Druitt

  • Beginners - Monday from 5:30pm

  • Intermediate - Monday from 5:30pm

• Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope

  • Beginners - Fridays from 5:30pm

  • Intermediate - Fridays from 6:30pm

CBBA hosts a Ford Aussie Hoops program every school term. Each term runs over eight weeks with an hour session per week.

• Term 1 starts from the week commencing 10th of February

  • Registrations are now closed

• Term 2 starts from the week commencing 5th of May

  • Mt Druitt Monday dates: 5th May, 12th May, 19th May, 26th May, 2nd June, 16th June, 23rd June and 30th June

  • Stanhope Friday dates: 16th May 23rd May, 30th May, 6th June, 13th June, 20th June, 27th June and 4th July.

• Term 3 starts from the week commencing 28th of July

  • Registrations will open in June

• Term 4 starts form the week commencing 20th of October

  • Registrations will open in September

Participants will be required to register term by term.

New Participant - $160 per term (includes Aussie Hoops Starter Pack)

Returning Participant - $110 per term

Parents can use the NSW Active Kids Voucher for this program.

Beginner Program

• Suitable for kids aged 5 to 8 years old

• Participants learn the foundational skills of basketball through fun games and drills

Intermediate Program

• Suitable for kids aged 7 to 9 years old who have completed the beginner program.

• Participants learn the rules and competition skills needed to play basketball.

No experience is needed to participant in either program. We suggest for all new participants to start in the Beginners program. Our coaches will assess their skill and be moved to Intermediate, if necessary.
