  • What is the Beginner Program?

    The beginner program is offered at both locations. Aimed at children aged 5-10. This program teaches participants the foundational skills of basketball.

  • What is the Lets Play (Intermediate) Program?

    The Lets Play program is an intermediate program for participants who have graduated from the beginner program. The intermediate program teaches participants the rules of basketball and the skills necessary to assimilate into local competition.

  • What do I need for my first session?

    Participants need to wear their Ford Aussie Hoops singlet. They need to bring their Aussie Hoops basketball. They need to wear enclosed running shoes and bring a bottle of water.

  • Who will be coaching my child?

    All coaches are accredited and have NSW working with children checks. All programs will be supervised by experienced Aussie Hoops team leaders.

  • Do CBBA accept NSW Active Kids Vouchers?

    Yes, CBBA accepts all valid NSW Actie Kids Vouchers for the Aussie Hoops program.

  • If my child is a returning participant, do we need to purchase the pack again?

    No, you only need to purchase the pack one (upon your first registration).

  • What comes in the participant pack?

    Aussie Hoops Participant Pack

    Participant packs will be delivered to the address you provided.

  • The term is about to start, but we will not have the pack in time for the first session?

    Please ensure the participant wears enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle. We will provide the participant with basketball to borrow for the session until you receive the pack.

  • I do not know what program to register my child for?

    The Beginner Programs are for children aged 5-10. These programs teach the basic foundational skills in basketball. This program is suitable for children who have little or no experience.

    The Intermediate Programs (Lets Play) are for children aged 8-12. This program helps paticipants take the next steps towards competition play. Participants will learn the rules of basketball competition and the skills necessary to compete In competition. This program is suitable for children who have completed the Beginners Program or have some basketball experience.
